Film Description: "When Monaliza Smiled" is a Jordanian romantic comedy from director Fadi Haddad that follows an office romance between Monaliza, a young Jordanian woman who doesn't see the point in smiling, and Hamdi, an Egyptian immigrant who offers Monaliza a new perspective on life.
