Elyanna with Dr. Ramzi Salti, backstage after her Oakland Concert |
Palestinian-Chilean artist Elyanna celebrated the release of her album "WOLEDTO" with an unforgettable performance at Oakland's Fox Theater on November 17, 2024 as part of her global tour.
When Elyanna first took the stage, she immediately launched into the title track "Woledto" and the dance anthem "Yalla Ya," accompanied by a quartet of powerhouse dancers. Her infectious energy and vibrant choreography set the tone for a night of pure spectacle.

The evening began with dynamic performances from MC Abdul (pictured below), Fairdose, and ZEEMUFFIN, who amped up the audience with their unique styles, creating an electric atmosphere.
The performance took a poignant turn with "Olive Branch," Elyanna's ode to Palestine (see video below). Here, she connected deeply with the audience, who waved their keffiyehs and Palestinian flags in solidarity. Her heartfelt performance mourned the lives lost and called for peace in the Middle East.

The concert continued with rhythmic hits like "Mama Eh" and soulful songs like "Callin’ U (Tamally Maak)," creating an unparalleled experience. The Fox Theater pulsed with energy, enhanced by striking lights and rhythmic bass.
After the concert, VIP ticket holders enjoyed a special meet and greet with Elyanna, adding a personal touch to the unforgettable evening. Below is an autograph in Arabic that Elyanna signed for me backstage.
